Basically, you can give your opponent control of the card once per turn, then banish all cards you control and Special Summon the 'actual' Armityle. (1) This card’s name becomes Armityle the Chaos Phantasm while on the field. After reading the card effect, I was left a bit confused. If you're running the OG Armityle in your Sacred Beast build, you now need to pair it with this in the Extra Deck. I was browsing the card list for Phantom Rage the other day when I came across a variant of Armityle the Chaos Phantasm. The only way they could have made this any better is if it was summoned by Dimension Fusion Destruction (which will be the primary fusion method, behind Verte targeting DFD), it would pass on the damage negation effect to the OG Armityle it summons. You get to banish the opponent's entire field, and then get one free OG Armityle. ![]() While Crunchyroll translated the name Johan/Jesse used for it as “Total Destruction and Reincarnation Wave”, that rather matches Armityle’s attack name, so we assume it is a mistake and ignore it. ![]() Note: This card is a reference to Armityle’s effects in the anime that was not kept in the printed version. (3) Once per turn, during the End Phase, if this card’s control changed this turn: Banish all cards you control, then this card’s owner can Special Summon 1 “Armityle the Chaos Phantasm” from their Extra Deck, ignoring its Summoning conditions.
